CemAir has Certificate of Airworthiness Pulled for Twelve Aircraft
Johannesburg 02-Feb-2018 The South African Civil Aviation Authority has suspended the Certificate of Airworthiness for twelve CemAir aircraft, as a result of audit findings. The SACAA inspectors have deemed the aircraft to have been released back into service or cleared as airworthy by unqualified personnel. It has 24 hours to to resolve the finding.
CemAir operates an all Bombardier fleet comprising of CRJ-100/200/900 and DHC-8-100/300 and Q400 aircraft.
