Additional Historical Information
03-Jul-2005 Sustained considerable damage to aft fuselage/empennage when it was hit by a Mytravel Airbus A330 on the taxiway at Vancouver, BC. Temporary repairs were undertaken to permit a ferry flight to Toronto, ON by Sep-2005. The entire aft fuselage (from forward of baggage compartment) and tail section were removed, after which the comparable section from a Horizon Air DHC-8-102 was grafted in place. The aircraft was able to return to service in 2006.
